Ten Year Wedding Anniversary!

On November 25, 2000 over 100 of our family members and friends joined us in
Encinitas, California to witness us becoming husband and wife...
Please enjoy this little picture story and fondest memories of our day.

It was a beautiful & perfect day for a wedding!
In fact, it was a little too warm for late November!Miles bringing Salyna flowers & a gift (earrings) before the ceremony...
with his body guard, I mean, best man, Chris.

Friends, roommates, co-workers...
Salyna told her dad, "I can't breath..."
She can't remember what he replied.
It was hot in the bright sun!
We had been to this location several times at that specific time of day and it was always cool and a little overcast... NOT that day!
We were very blessed to have a wonderful photographer who got some unique shots...
this is one of Salyna's favorites!
We laugh now when talking about our "minister, reverend, rent-a-justice"...
we did not know him at all, in fact we found him in a wedding catalog of some sort for the San Diego area. In spite of that, he did a great job!

Some of the picture quality is not that great... we had a TON of pics taken by a lot of people which helped replace the roll of film that got ruined in processing by our photographer, who kindly didn't charge us for the prints we ordered!
One of our favs!
Best Man - Chris
Maid of Honor - Leigh
Girlfriends since 2nd grade!
Another favorite pic!
All of our parents!
Reception Time!
One of many fav reception pics!
Of course, there was tears!!
All the boys!
Miles was the first of the group to get married...
all, except one (who shall remain nameless) has followed.
Miles dancing with his Grandma who passed away just over 2 months later.
She had really been looking forward to this day.
We are so thankful that she was able to be a part of it!
Salyna's Great-Grandpa!
Then there were those "special" dances...

The after party in our presidental suite...
included more beverages, In-N-Out, and family!

More tears before the night was over!
Sadly we didn't get any really good pics from our honeymoon
which consisted of 3 days in Las Vegas!
So here we are 10 years later... 10 years older... 10 years wiser?!
We are still best friends!
We are parents... to FIVE children!
Thankful to be 10 years more in love!
Cheers to 10 years!

Congrats guys! So, you obviously aren't taking a big trip for your 10 year - you better start planning now for year 11!
By the way - You look like babies in your wedding pictures :)
