October!

I wanted to say "October already?!" But I can't believe it the 17th already and yet another month has passed since posting. I hated turning over the calander to this month. I didn't want to do it. The 2 year anniversary of my mom's death is on the 25th. I'm not looking forward to that day.
But we did start the month off great. Miles' grandpa had been in Salina at a reunion so we went and picked him up. He stayed with us for almost 5 days before flying back to San Diego.

Lincoln probably enjoyed his great-grandpa the most, maybe because of all the kids he is the one who got to spend the most time with him. This was their morning routine...

He waited patiently every morning for his shave and hair combing... SO CUTE!!!

He went looking for grandpa for a few mornings after he left.

The kids tried on their costumes... shhhhh... don't tell anyone!

Andrew and Lincoln took grandpa to feed the "ducks" (geese really) by the river.

Lincoln was pretty excited to just chase them, he wasn't scared at all.

On another note...

Andrew has been seeing a developemental pediatrician and he will be seeing a child psychologist in December for further testing for ASD (autism spectrum disorder), like Asperger's Syndrome. He is enjoying pre-school and has retained EVERYTHING! It's kind of scarey, but also very encouraging. We had no doubts about how smart he was!

One day while he was "watching a movie" in our bedroom he found the camera... I found almost 50 pictures on it, mostly of him, his feet, the tv, the cats, and our neighbors house from the window. Here is one of his self portraits!

We are fast approaching the birth of our Baby Girl, who apparently has a name...

Amelia Louise!! (but it is not written on the birth certificate yet)

Hopefully I will get another post done before she is born so she will get a post all to herself!!
